Boundary Surveys

Accurate, compliant, and reliable Boundary (Cadastral) Surveys

A Boundary Survey, also known as a Cadastral Survey, is a legally binding and accurate survey of your property’s title boundaries.

Our Licensed Surveyors investigate the survey history of your property and using the latest equipment and technology, calculate and redefine your property boundaries, presenting our findings in a detailed plan and/or report. Only a Licensed Surveyor registered under the Surveying Act 2004 can perform Cadastral Surveys.

Title Re-Establishment Survey

A Title Re-Establishment Survey accurately determines and marks the legal boundaries of a property. Whether you’re renovating, subdividing, building near a boundary, or adjusting fences, knowing your exact property limits is essential to avoid disputes and ensure compliance.

At Smith Land Consulting, we provide precise and reliable surveys for homeowners, developers, and builders. Our expertise ensures your boundaries are clearly defined, giving you confidence in your property decisions.

Title Survey

A Title Survey is required when creating or amending property titles and is an essential step in the subdivision or title amendment process. These surveys are a legal requirement of Land Use Victoria and must comply with the Surveying (Cadastral Surveys) Regulations 2015 and the Victorian Cadastral Surveys Practice Directives 2021.

At Smith Land Consulting, we ensure all Title Surveys are conducted with precision and in full compliance with regulatory standards. Our expertise guarantees accurate boundary definition, seamless lodgement, and a smooth approval process.

Desktop Survey

A Desktop Survey provides a cost-effective and efficient solution for preliminary land assessments without the need for extensive fieldwork. At Smith Land Consulting, we specialise in virtual land surveying, analysing cadastral data, aerial imagery, and planning overlays to deliver critical insights for your project.

Our desktop surveys help identify potential constraints, zoning requirements, and development opportunities, ensuring you have the necessary information to make informed decisions before committing to detailed site work.
