Ashley serves as the Land Development Manager at Smith Land Surveyors, bringing over 15 years of experience in land development and surveying. He began his tenure with the firm in 2012 as the Senior Draftsperson, supporting the Licensed Surveyors in both office and field operations. Through dedication and the acquisition of extensive skills in town planning, project coordination, and everything subdivision, Ashley progressed into his current leadership role.
In his capacity as Land Development Manager, Ashley collaborates closely with our clients, councils, consultants and authorities to manage subdivision projects from initial planning through to servicing compliance. His expertise ensures the delivery of accurate and timely outcomes, facilitating smooth project progression.

Over the years, Ashley has cultivated strong relationships with a diverse network of stakeholders, including local councils, utility providers, and private consultants. These connections are instrumental in navigating the complexities of land development, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Residing in Geelong and raised in Warrnambool, Ashley possesses extensive knowledge of the southwest, as well as the Geelong and Melbourne regional municipalities. His deep understanding of local planning and property development enables him to provide clients with insightful guidance tailored to their specific project sites.
